Since graduating from Michigan State University, College of Engineering, with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering in 1995, Michelle Campbell has made a positive impact to her community, city, state, country, and the world. After graduation, she was at the forefront of 2-way radio, cellular, and broadband communication technologies, becoming one of the highest ranked African Americans at Motorola Solutions. She has also held executive positions at L3Harris Technologies and is currently leading the North America Product Marketing for video surveillance solutions at Robert Bosch.
Michelle has received many awards and has been recognized for many accomplishments during her career, some include "Top 25 Women of Chicago", “Who’s Who in Black Chicago”, Workforce Partner of the Year, Product Manager of the Year and Black Engineer of the Year (BEYA) - Modern Day Technology Leader; but one she is most proud of is addressing the United Nations on how to use broadband communications for disaster recovery. One of the many ways Michelle has given back to her Alma Mater, is her commitment to intentionally hire young Black women from Michigan State University’s College of Engineering for summer internships and permanent employment.
